Ralphs-Pugh Co. was founded in 1912 as a distributor of rubber products. The Company incorporated in 1921 and made its first conveyor roller in 1959. The first rollers were made of plastic and utilized bushing style bearings. Soon after, metal balls in plastic raceways were developed. In the 1980's metal rollers were added to the product line. With ever-increasing requirements for higher speeds, faster throughput and quiet systems came the companies first ABEC-1 precision bearings in conductive plastic housings. Engineering, tool and die manufacturing capabilities and injection molding equipment were brought in-house to assure quality, rapid turn around times and control of production parts. A full line of stainless steel rollers and bearings for the food and chemical industry followed. Ralphs-Pugh also offers a comprehensive array of bearings and bushing/endplug combinations for both plastic and metal tubing.

Our trougher line is available in two roll and three roll configurations with standard one roll carrier return units. Tube materials include plastic, carbon steel and stainless steel for exceptional durability and corrosion resistance.

Specialty rollers include Urethane covered tapered rollers for turns, sleeved rollers utilizing Urethane, HDPE, UHMW and PVC, powered rollers with grooves for lineshaft, sprockets for chain or belt drives, one-direction clutch rollers and rollers with shafts that will depress from both ends at the same time. Our engineering staff is available to assist in the design of specialty rollers for any application.
