The pressure shoe assembly that these rollers are used in can be quite abusive. Using light duty OEM molded parts not suitable for the higher level of abuse this system administers, the whole frame assembly can fall apart rather quickly once an OEM roller fails under stress, as the belt will fail with the roller and will in turn destroy the assembly.
Ralphs-Pugh's V-Guide replacement roller is stark in it's differences versus the OEM roller.
